Muller Technology Announces Appointment of Thom Mandl as Chief Operating Officer
New COO Brings Extensive Operational and Management Skills to Leadership Post
FORT COLLINS, Colo., January 18, 2022 – Muller Technology Colorado Inc., a leading global supplier of molds and automation solutions for sustainable thin-wall packaging, has named Thom Mandl as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 1. The appointment was announced today by Thomas Federer, Group CEO of Muller Technology.
Mandl, based in Fort Collins, will oversee day-to-day business operations and direct efforts to expand Muller’s growth strategy in the packaging industry.

Mandl is a seasoned operations executive with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing. He has held leadership roles in production, engineering, quality, continuous improvement, and, more recently, general management. His early career experience was with two global market leaders, Ford and Procter & Gamble, where he gained valuable experience and skills that he successfully applied at smaller manufacturers in a wide variety of industries. Most recently, he was Director of Operations at Summit Bodyworks, and Chief Operating Officer at Wadsworth Control Systems.

Mandl holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University, and an MBA in International Business from Regent University. He has earned professional certifications in LEAN, Six Sigma, and Supply Chain Management.
